2 Avenue Of The Americas, 817 519 6600 - The 203-room Tribeca Grand Hotel is the sibling of the Soho Grand Hotel but who cares: Look out for party night listings - it can rock: Have been to my most 'New York' of parties here. (May need guest list). On quieter nights it's still cool: check the main glam cocktail hotel bar (it's worth a trip just to see the inside of the hotel).

On bigger nights the back room of the bar opens and downstairs a large room for dancing and occasionally some bands.
